In January 2007, the Centre for Environment formalized a partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada (JGI), when the Institute was relocated to the University of Toronto. JGI is a major, international non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife research, environmental education and the conservation and welfare of all species while encouraging social change within the developing world.
