SSHRC Partnership Engage Grant

Professor Tanhum Yoreh was awarded a SSHRC Partnership Engage Grant. The title of the project is "Barriers and Opportunities for Orthodox Environmental Engagement". He will be working with Shoresh, a Jewish environmental organization based in Toronto. This partnership will support Shoresh’s 3-year strategic planning process and inform what opportunities exist to reduce barriers and engage Orthodox communities. More generally, the project will also shed light on how to advance environmental engagement in conservative and traditional communities that may be more resistant to mainstream forms of environmentalism.
