Why did you choose to study in the School of the Environment?
I got hooked by a first year course that I took for fun!
What is your favorite memory from your time with the School?
Learning to identify trees on campus with other students, and having my daily walks become transformed with this new knowledge.
How have you been affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic? What are your thoughts about the future?
Unfortunately, a lot of plans have fallen through that I was very excited for (including having my family see me graduate!). I feel a lot of uncertainty about my next steps since things are changing so frequently and it’s so tempting to want to do everything perfectly, but I've learned to embrace the idea that you can only ever do what you think is best in that moment and everything that follows can be dealt with.
