Professor Steve Easterbrook appeared on Global radio to discuss the progression of global warming and climate change. "One of the things that climate change is doing is weakening the jet stream. The jet stream keeps the polar vortex in check. But as the jet stream slows it starts to meander, so you get these waves of cold air coming further south than they normally come."
