Department Manager Meghan Sbrocchi received the the Dean’s Outstanding Administrative Service Award. The award is given to an administrative staff member who has earned the respect of their administrative colleagues and whose outstanding contributions to administrative service have made a positive impact on teaching, research or general administration.
Meghan has held the role of Department Manager at the School of the Environment since 2019, and she has been with the Faculty of Arts & Science (FAS) since 2010. In her 14 years at FAS, Meghan has earned the respect of her colleagues, demonstrated commitment to the Faculty by performing above and beyond the scope of her role, and made an impact at the local, divisional, and institutional level. Along with her undeniable talent, Meghan is a consummate professional. She is a dedicated representative of FAS and U of T, and she was recognized for her demonstrable, positive impact with an inaugural EUTA award in January 2023. Meghan also served as an elected member of the 2023-24 A&S Council. These achievements are a testament to the lasting effect of the relationships she builds, the culture of care and collaboration she fosters, and her commitment to performing above and beyond the scope of her role to serve the wider FAS community.
